Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or purchasing access on Lexert Labs ("we," "us," "the site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. What Lexert Labs is

Lexert Labs provides hands-on troubleshooting labs, study guides, and practice exams for CompTIA certification tracks (Network+, Security+, A+, Linux+) and AI-assisted-workflow debugging. Labs run against a simulated environment we built for this purpose — they are not live production networks or systems, and no real infrastructure is exposed or affected.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for individual use — don't share a paid account's credentials with other people.

4. Purchases and pricing

Track access, bundles, and practice exams are sold as one-time purchases at the prices shown on the pricing page at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details.

5. Refund policy

You can request a full refund on a purchase within 14 days of buying it, as long as you've spent 2 hours or less of logged-in time on your account since the purchase was made. Once either condition is no longer met, the purchase is no longer refund-eligible. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Stripe and are requested from the Purchases page in your account.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to bypass access controls, scrape or redistribute lab content, automate account creation, or interfere with the site's normal operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

7. No exam-pass guarantee

Lexert Labs is a study aid. Completing labs, study guides, or practice exams does not guarantee you will pass any official CompTIA certification exam. Official exam content and scoring are controlled entirely by CompTIA, not by us.

8. Intellectual property

All lab content, study material, site design, and code are owned by Lexert Labs unless otherwise noted. You may use them for your own personal study; you may not resell, redistribute, or publish them elsewhere.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Lexert Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
